Bus Over/Under Relay

The Bus Over/Under Relay consists of a sending unit and an adjustable relay unit. The sending unit connects to the voltage to be monitored; it is self powered; and it communicates to the receiver via a fiber optic cable. The receiver consists of a fiber optic receiver, two set-point potentiometers, and two output relays housed in a molded enclosure. The attached drawing shows the connections, configurations, and specifications.

    Voltage Suppressor

The Voltage Suppressor is designed and intended for use with catenary resistor PN0599 and catenary voltage monitoring assembly PN0462. It is designed to protect the low voltage side from accidental contact of the low side of the resistor by traction voltage or lightning.

    ETS Supervisory Relay

The ETS Supervisory Relay is normally used to provide an output from remote shorting of a wire pair while monitoring for an open loop. The typical application is for remote stop buttons.

    Transfer Trip Kit

The Transfer Trip Kit is designed to trip a DC feeder breaker by a signal from a remote source.

    DC to DC Battery Charger

The DC to DC Battery Charger has been designed to provide an alternate battery charging system utilizing a high voltage DC source (normally a traction power substation) to charge station type battery banks.
