As IMPulse NC moves into 2007, the primary focus will be on its alternative energy traction power battery substation (BASS).
The IMPulse NC traction power systems division has been resized to accommodate this new business development and offering for energy cost savings, voltage stablization, and emergency power back up traction power solutions.
IMPulse NC will no longer pursue the traditional traction power substation contracts. However, it will continue to support its legacy equipment through aftermarket parts and services, along with offerings for its DC High Speed Circuit Breakers (both new and replacement options).
IMPulse NC's overhead electrification group (OEG) remains unchanged and unaffected by this change. In fact, the OCS hardware business is expected to see continued improvements, along with careful growth opportunities in the future.
IMPulse NC will be making personal calls upon its customers in the near future to review this plan and address any potential concerns or questions.
